I have been trying to get my career off the ground as a Zumba instructor in the Boston area!  I have been teaching regular Zumba classes already, but this past weekend I went and got Aqua Zumba certified.  I was so excited about it that I decided to create this new blog to share with everyone.  I had a boyfriend that used to call me his mermaid because I love the water.. now it makes sense to be the BostonZumbaMermaid, as I am doing teaching both land and water Zumba now!  I will also want to get certified in Zumbatomic (kids) and Zumba Gold (older people) as I currently work with a special needs group and I am fully feeling the joy of working with people that may need some extra attention.

I have danced for most of my life though, so regular Zumba and Aqua Zumba will prove to be fabulous to teach as well I’m sure.  I am also interested in teaching ballroom at some point, particularly Latin, as this is part of my dance background too.  Anyway, I just wanted to get the word out about what I am doing in my life, and to let people know I’m available to spread some Zumba love if they have an open space or pool that they’d like me to visit.
